Sunrise

By Lorraine

This February has been filled with beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
The cold temperatures must have played into making these amazing  hues of early morning.

These photos were taken Monday morning February 14th.
It didn’t matter which direction I faced ~ the whole sky was beautiful!
The above photos were taken February 9th.
The front of our home faces east and as I walked past the room we use as a nursery, the colors drew my attention.  These shots were taken from that up-stairs window.  A couple through the blinds.

For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Psalm 108:4

those are some amazing sunrises. I never get to really see them since there is just too much blocking the view from my house.

Beautiful!! I'm not an early riser, so this was really beautiful to see…almost makes me want to get up early…almost. 🙂

Those colors give complete meaning to "the sky was ablaze." Very impressive! We rarely see such skies.

We don't get sunsets or sunrises like these in winter here. I love to go down to the beach in summer, though, to watch them – can't wait!

Your camera and your eye for beauty really captures God's beautiful artwork in the early morning skies. You seem to be like me in that you love your home and enjoy the beauty of each and every room at different times of the day. I always think that like when you spotted the nursery with its pink hue, that it is a gift from God just meant for you! Thank you for sharing with us.
