little miracles

By Lorraine

Some little miracles and a quote by Albert Einstein…  There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is.

Recuperation for hip replacement is progressing so well. Each day is better than the last. I am walking and walking as recommended. Each time I feel tired, pain or discomfort, it isn’t long before I receive a little miracle  of a visit, card, facebook or instagram comment, or encouraging word making me feel incredibly loved. Every gesture brightens my day!

This evening I received not only the beautiful items in the top photo, but also a most delicious meal right down to two chocolate bars. I couldn’t find a meal more perfect the world over. A love gift.

Little Miracles

Besties spent an afternoon with me.

Too much love!

Daily Step activity ~ not bad for 9 days post surgery 🙂

Thank you, friends for your prayers and thoughts! Keep them coming! Wednesday, August 17th, I have a post-operative appointment with the surgeon.  He will be removing the staples and then doing stitches/sutures. It sounds most unpleasant to me so I will be depending on the Good Lord to get me through it.

Someone already said it, NEVER too much love!
Good for you! Sounds like you are well-Blessed! Just read this quote today and thought it appropriate:
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is. Albert Einstein

Isn't it amazing how much visits, cards, and other gestures of kindness mean when you're down?!

Yes, certainly, I'll continue to pray for you!

Well, I am all about miracle…little or big ones! You have some beautiful friends, no doubt. It's so good to hear that you are doing so well. I can't relate to the experience personally, but working in a PT clinic puts me in direct contact with many who are walking in your shoes 🙂 Keep up the good work, Lorraine!

    Hugs!

You are doing so well! You'll probably feel even better after the staples are out. Each day progress–and taking note of the small miracles–you can't get better than that!

The love and care of besties can't be beat! I'm glad to hear that you continue to progress. I'm still praying and will be praying for your appointment on the 17th. Wish I could drop by for a visit and some chocolate! I'd bring the chocolate

There can never be too much love! What a sweet thing for your friends to do for you. I think that you would be doing the same for them if your situations were reversed.
Good luck today – each appointment and each unpleasantness brings you closer to recovery…..and yours looks amazing!
