brokenhearted

By Lorraine

Brokenhearted... when we watch family and friends walk through difficult times we care, hurt with them and pray for them. Bible verses including Psalm 34:18-19

brokenhearted

My heart hurts for dear friends
walking hard roads
so many it seems
painful
difficult

they walk in faith
they walk in love
they walk in dignity and grace

I pray
I try to encourage
I watch

because I want to be just like them when its my turn
I want the Lord to shine through me like it does them.

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:17

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

Beautiful photo and scripture. It is so hard to watch others suffer and struggle. I am thankful we have a wonderful heavenly Father that we can take these concerns to.

I feel a bit broken myself. And a bit despondent. Hopefully, this too shall pass. Hoping all goes well for your friends.

Love that song! There are so many hurting folks and it gives us so many opportunities to reach out and minister to them. There are few who will not experience life hurts at some point. Blessings my friend!
