Short Infinity Scarf

By Lorraine

Easy crochet pattern for short version infinity scarf. Works up quickly and pattern is easily adapted. Pretty aqua yarn.
Short and quick projects can be so rewarding.  Instant gratification for finishing a project. It is even better when the end result is a warm and snugly neck warmer. It doesn’t take much time to crochet a short infinity scarf for someone you love.

This snugly scarf is a shorter version of the one I shared a little ago. To see the full article, click Crochet Braided Scarf.

I mentioned that the patterns is very adaptable. It can be made in various yarns and in any color combination you like. It can also be made longer or shorter, thicker or thinner.

For kids, I like the smaller version that fits snugly around the neck. Make a few to match different outfits or jackets.

Easy pattern for crochet infinity braided scarf. Three strips worked in basic crochet stitches, braided and stitched together. Very adaptable pattern.
The yarn I used was bulky and super soft.
Our granddaughter, Keri Jill was kind to model it for me even after a tiring day at school.

This precious girl is who I had in mind when I made it.
I found the yarn at AC Moore in a $1.00 bin and love the color and texture.  It took about 1 1/2, 37 -yard skeins to make this scarf.

This is MY FAVORITE yarn. I just found out its discontinued and ACMOORE is the only one that carries it. Of course they don't have an online store! I am looking for the grey version of the yarn you used on that scarf. :(( Can't find it anywhere, so so sad. If anyone comes across it online message me on FB PLEASE http://www.facebook.com/magenta.bard7 You did an absolutely beautiful job on this scarf! And your picture captured well 🙂

I love the scarves – they are both so beautiful! Do you know the approximate length of the strips for both the short and longer version of this scarf? Thanks so much for sharing!
