After School with the Grandchildren

By Lorraine

I spent the afternoon visiting with Jamie and her children, taking photos and helping with homework. After school with the grandchildren is a time for me to connect with these dear little ones and gives their mom a short reprieve.

After School with the Grandchildren

3 year old Cambrie being silly

5 year old Caleb (in kindergarten) who doesn’t like his picture taken
7 year old Silas (in second grade) who is very proud of his lost teeth
9 year old Noah (in forth grade) being studious

10 year old Keri  (in fifth grade)  having a snack and doing homework
Jamie had a doctor appointment today and was told the little guy she is carrying is a big one and will probably weigh more than 9-pounds.  She is expecting the end of October!

Precious! Grandchildren are such a blessing – and a lot of fun! But, then, you already know that, my friend. Thank you for sharing yours with us.

Those are the "blest" times of all. Sweet memories you are making for and with every one of them. Your grandchildren are beautiful and sweet that another one is coming along soon.

I think big families are wonderful. I come from a family of eight, ten including my parents. We always had such fun times together. All of your grandchildren are beautiful and I am sure you love being with them. I pray your daughter has a short and easy delivery.
