My dear friend, currently living in Texas, sent this pretty table scarf to me via another friends recent visit. I love linens and the embroidery on this piece is so pretty.

Even though it is intended for Christmas with tiny boughs of pine and holly, red cardinal and Amaryllis, I think it works for Valentine’s Day too. I took notice of the capital ‘L’ in red and thought it extra special 😉

If my friend were here for a visit we would definitely enjoy a cup of tea together and some treats. She would bring her infectious smile and words of encouragement because that is one of her gifts.  She would lend a listening ear, maybe share a Bible verse and there would be laughter and a hug.
