counting my blessings

By Lorraine

Since we don’t see these precious grands as often as our others, photos from Jill are greatly appreciated!
These were taken just as the kids were heading back to school.
Perfect weather, and a very dear friend visiting from Texas made for an extra special outside brunch to celebrate birthdays.
An Autumn Carnival was the theme for Grandparents Day at Keri and Noah’s school.
The weather was perfect for a full morning of activities with both sets of grandparents loving these two kiddos.
and a reminder why I really blog…
John called my attention recently to the kids at the computer.  I was so surprised to see them having fun perusing my blog and laughing at posts that include them. When they scroll to the bottom of each page they see the list of labels I add to each post making it easy for them to click and and go every post that is about them.
It truly warmed my heart to see this.
❤
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows

Beautiful, bountiful blessings! I agree how wonderful your blog will be for your family to be able to look back upon. (I often think how awesome it would have been to have had a blog from my parents when they were younger as well as when our children were growing up :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!

They are truly your treasures! Your grandchildren are beautiful, and like me, you've got brown-eyed and blue-eyed grandchildren!

What a privilege it is for us to be able to step into the lives of your lovely family for a few minutes, via your blog. It blesses my heart to see their smiles and to read how they touch your lives. I liked the picture of them looking at your blog, and smiled as I saw their reactions to it. Your family is a real inspiration to me.

What a lovely blog you have here.
I have been by before but it has been quite awhile since I have come across your blog again.

All your grandchildren are beautiful by the way, and how blessed you are to have so many….
Loved to hear that your grandchildren get a kick out of reading your blog posts about them. How special for them, and you!

We have our very first grandchild and she is about to be 7 mos. old, I would love to think in the years to come that she would enjoy reading about herself on my blog. I also think it is something my children will one day cherish. Think my daughter is a stealth reader and possibly my Daughter in love is too, at times, and I love that thought…..
That apple coffee cake looks like it is to die for………..ummm

You have a lovely week ahead,
    Blessings, Nellie

Such a lovely family, and beautiful photos. Just before reading this post I was thinking about posting some photos of my grandchildren (again) I haven't seen my grandsons in the flesh for over two years and so cherish photos and Skype times. We are so blessed with the gift of grandchildren aren't we?
