sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts. Fasten off.
Finishing
With sewing need and thread, sew buttons to front of brim
following photo as guide. Weave in ends.

Rows 2-6: Ch 1, sc in each sc across; turn.

Armhole Edging

skipped sc at underarm, sc in next sc, working over post
of st at row ends, sc in each row around armhole opening;
join with a slip st in first sc – 30 sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, skip next 2 sc, V-st in next

With sewing needle and matching thread, attach buttons to
left front aligned with button loops. Weave in ends.

Those little girls will never forget the Christmas when their Grandmother made outfits for their dolls – that is the real stuff of memories. I hope someday to have a granddaughter for whom I can make doll clothes too.

Just as sweet as can be! My grandma sewed clothes for our dolls –quite the designer outfits for those little Jill dolls (before Barbies) … I still have some of them.
