I’ve Got Wheels!

By Lorraine

Finally. After a long time saving and a long time looking I bought a car.
Its a 2003 Toyota Avalon with decent miles on the odometer.
Not exactly the sporty black baby with moon roof and rumbling varoom I had in mind but still with style.
I opted for sensible, like-new appearance, smooth ride, roomy interior, quiet and good over-all reviews
(but slightly humdrum)
The toothy smiley face is growing on me
The convenience of having a second car and not dropping John off at work to be mobile is very nice.
Still dreaming about my next car though. The really fun one to drive 🙂

I'm so happy for you, Lorraine! It's a beautiful classic! You simply can't go wrong with Toyota or Honda. I've always had both and they are trouble free!

It looks great. I am so thankful for my lil old Malibu that my hubby thinks is "homely". It gets me around and I can count on it.
    Nice leather interior you have!

Congrats on the new ride! I love my Toyota, too. Good cars. Funny, but at the time I purchased this one, I had my heart set on a shiny-black- with-cream interior Mercury Milan. I am sure I was led to make the right choice for me. xo

    What a blessing!

If you could see what I drive, you'd think that your new car was really "fun"! (Long, boring story.) I am grateful, though, that we are a two vehicle family.

    Enjoy your new wheels!

You will love your Toyota. Would you believe that we are still driving a Toyota Sequoia with 319,000 miles on it? It still runs like a top and is in excellent shape on the exterior, too. My dil had a Toyota for many years too and sold it, still in excellent shape, when it was 12 years old. Enjoy your new wheels- xo Diana
