Ocean City with Family

By Lorraine

Jill and Brad are spending the week in Ocean City, as leaders for a Youth for Christ retreat.
There are 75 people part of the group so they are very busy.
John and I met Erin on the beach and were later joined by Jill, Brad and kids for a really beautiful day.

The weather had been not-so-nice for the previous few days, so on this gorgeous day, the beach was really packed.

Walking the boards, miniature golf with Ryan, Brenna and Shae, then pizza for dinner and finally Kohr’s Bros  Custard.  Perfect!

What fun to read this post and see the pictures of your beautiful family. Many, many years ago, I was a leader for YFC in Ocean City. When I read that you had family doing that too, so many special memories came back to me. And, since I have been visiting this vacation location for most of my life, memories came flooding back to me with every picture. I must admit, you certainly do not look like a grandma to all the children, or should I say, "you look like a young grandma." I have the same picture with the painted, wooden flipflops.

I have so many memories of this wonderful place, as since I was born, we would spend a week down there with my grandparents. What a gift these memories are for your grandchildren! Oh the fun of mini golf and Kohrs! It's just too bad they don't know about Morrow's Nut House, as it was my favorite place to pick out penny candy. 😉 Oh well, at least Mack n Maco is still around! And, if i might add, you look beautiful!

I've enjoyed seeing all the family fun in your recent posts…what fun to be regularly making memories. You all look like you're having such fun. I can't wait until we take our grandbabies mini golfing – that sounds like a great time!

I love all the Hummingbird photos – they're such sweet looking little things. The cake is pretty sweet looking too and it sounds awesome!

Lots of color there at the beach! It does look crowded, but nice that you all had a fun day together.
