Baltimore Orioles forage in trees and shrubs, also making short flights to catch insects. They mainly eat insects, berries and nectar, and are often seen sipping at hummingbird feeders. Oriole feeders contain essentially the same food as hummingbird feeders, but are designed for orioles, and are orange instead of red and have larger perches. Baltimore Orioles are also fond of halved oranges, grape jelly and, in their winter quarters, the red arils of Gumbo-limbo (Bursera simaruba). Source: Wikipedia

What a colorful little visitor. You have Baltimores and we have Bullocks. I have seen a few in my new yard. We are planting trees and getting feeders up….along with garage shelves, accessories, and taking care of grandchildren! Yikes…I sure have missed all of our trees and birds this Spring. i am jealous, lol! we have orioles who come back every year and build a nest in a tree hanging over our patio. i see them up there and occasionally in a bush. i bought one of those orange feeders for orioles last year, have filled it with nectar, grape jelly and the half orange. and do they ever use the feeder? nooooo. your photos are gorgeous! maybe some day….

We have never seen one of these in our yard, and you were able to get a picture too, just beautiful. We have heard the hummingbirds chirping at each other, but have yet to see them at our feeders.
I've never seen one of those but they sure are pretty. How interesting they they like to visit hummingbird feeders. You got some great pictures of him.

He is just beautiful…I have never seen one up close. We have a our humming bird feeder out and we are so enjoying the humming birds, but I don't think we will see what you saw.
