Can you create an inviting and elegant Thanksgiving tablescape using disposable items? Absolutely yes! Save a lot of time, extra work and most important of all, enjoy your family and guests.

I love the idea of setting out the finest china and crystal glasses and creating the ideal Thanksgiving feast with well-dressed and well-behaved children using all the proper utensils.

But that really isn’t doable and it isn’t what makes this wonderful time of year so special. It was fun to pull out all of those special pieces in the past. But the family has grown. And so have I. In years that is, and all of that extra work has become a big chore.

Making Thanksgiving entertaining easier

Making the switch from china to disposable was a big leap. Way too many years I pushed through. Intent on my traditions and long after our grown daughters repeatedly encouraged me to switch, I simply found the day to be exhausting. Who likes to stand at the sink washing and stacking and stacks of dishes for hours! We went from a family of six plus my parents to our current immediate family of 26 not including friends that frequently join us.

An elegant Thanksgiving Table

The great thing is that you don’t have to give up a lovely and festive look to your holiday table or buffet. Take a peek at some of the items featured here and see just how elegant your table can be. When the feasting is finished, toss the plates and utensils and set out the coffee and desserts.

They are sturdy and won’t bend under the weight of food and are reusable if you wish. Included all the cutlery you need to complement your dinner party: 25 (10.5”) plastic dinner party plates, 25 (7.5”) plastic appetizer gold plates, 25 gold forks, 25 gold spoons, 25 gold knives, and 25 (10oz) gold-rim drinking tumblers.

Oak Leaves Cotton Napkins

You can certainly use paper napkins but these 100% cotton napkins add so much in both color and design. They come in sets of 4 and measure 20 inches by 20 inches.

The Matching Table Runner

With a double layer and measuring 14.5 Inch by 72 Inch.

Matching placemats

Instead of a table runner, you might prefer using place-mats. This lovely pattern matches the napkins above.

Beige Table Runner

If farmhouse is more your style, this beige runner is just lovely with the pieces shown here.

Thanksgiving Place Cards

Not only are these Thanksgiving place cards decorative but the give your guests the opportunity to give thought to their blessings with fill-in lines. Pack of 50 cards are printed on heavy card stock.

Tiered Serving Stand

A beautiful serving piece that saves table space with a neutral antique finished wrought iron stand and 3 stoneware plates.

Table or Buffet Centerpiece

Beautiful Roses with pine cones Floral arrangement

Placed in the center of the table or on a sideboard where desserts are served, a floral arrangement adds so much! Included is a 5.5-inch vase and the stems and silk flowers and pine cones are arranged yourself following the photo or as you like. It is a perfect height without being overwhelming.

Champagne Rose Floral Centerpiece

Or choose the same arrangement with Champagne colored roses.

Adding Sparkle and elegance

Mercury Glass Tealight Candle Holder

Little round gold votive candle holders gives the table so much ambiance and warmth.

16-oz. insulated gravy boat

Isn’t this the most handsome gravy boat! Brushed gold and double insulated with a hinged lid, it is ideal for keeping the gravy hot and delicious.

Give Thanks Burlap Banner

Traditional Essentials

Oval Turkey Platter

Both decorative and useful, having a large turkey platter makes serving the perfectly roasted turkey look amazing.

Ceramic Basket

I just love the look of this ceramic basket! I imagine it piled high with warm dinner rolls, sliced pumpkin bread or clusters of grapes. It is even lovely empty. For the holidays, fill it with Christmas ornaments or pine cones and pine branches. So versatile.

I like the idea of using disposable items. I’m all about making things easier these days. I guess that just comes with age.
I like that insulated gravy boat. That would be nice
